π± Life expectancy
Estimate your life expectancy based on lifestyle factors.
β οΈ Simplified estimate based on statistical averages. Not a substitute for medical consultation or personalized risk analysis.
How it works
We start from average Romanian life expectancy (75 male / 80 female, per INS 2023) and adjust with risk factors validated in epidemiological literature: smoking (-10 years for heavy smokers), exercise (+3-5 years), alcohol, BMI, chronic stress and education level (statistically correlated with longevity).
Fun facts
- The male-female life expectancy gap in Romania is 7-8 years - one of the largest in the EU.
- Residents of Okinawa (Japan) and Sardinia (Italy) live on average over 90 years - the famous "Blue Zones".
