How it works

Per Law 360/2023 (in force since September 2024):

  • Men: standard retirement age is 65, with 35 years of full contribution.
  • Women: age rises progressively from 61y 9m (Jan 2025) to 63 by 2030.
  • Early retirement: possible up to 5 years earlier, conditional on full contribution + 8 extra years of work.
  • Age-limit pension: doesn\'t require full contribution - you get a reduced pension.
